Aside from being a breath-taking part of the world, Tulum, Mexico is becoming a premiere location for quality electronic events. Often utilized by various labels and promoters during BPM week, Tulum is now seeing some pre-BPM events come to the foreground for the early part of 2016.
On January 6th, the Villa Pescadores Hotel & Beach Club will play host to the 2016 XLR8R Festival for a day and night soirée of sun-kissed beats and melodies.
For the first edition of the mini-festival, the folks at XLR8R have curated a lineup comprised of Tulum favorites, Blond:ish, alongside Mike Shannon, DeWalta, Dauwd, a live set from Deadbeat, Rebolledo, Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation, LA’s own, Clovis, Roam, and a few unannounced secret guests. For those heading to BPM early, or if you’re looking for a quick getaway to this pristine location, XLR8R will have the music covered come January 6th.
