El Row’s De La Swing and NYC’s Pinto To Play Los Angeles on March 8th

In August of last year, 6AM’s WORK event brand teamed up with Los Angeles-based collective Madhouse DJs to bring the warehouse debut of one of tech house’s most exciting names, Rafa Barrios.

The event was a resounding success and a testament that the WORK and Madhouse collaboration for events of this sound was worth exploring further. It may have taken longer than either WORK or Madhouse wanted, but the second edition of this collaboration series is now scheduled for next week.

Friday, March 8th will see the two event organizers team up to bring El Row’s De La Swing to a warehouse location somewhere in Los Angeles, joined by New York City’s Pinto, who boasts releases on Nervous Records, Country Club Disco and SOUP NYC, amongst many others.

Local support comes in-house, with Eddie Portillo and Jonny Maven b2b D.Zeledon scheduled to perform the event which will run 10pm-6am.

Born in Madrid in the 80s, Domingo Bellot starts his musical career at the age of 16. Influenced in its beginnings by techno and drum & bass, his technical skills, ability to connect with the crowd and his diverse musical style have made him one of the most versatile DJs in Spain. Over the past 5 years De La Swing has shared turntables with different top-level DJs, including Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Joseph Capriati, Adam Beyer, Paul Ritch, and Paco Osuna, among others.

Further, he has played major festivals in Europe and beyond, such as Monegros Desert Festival (Spain), Eastern Electric Festival (London), Kingsday Madness (Holland), We are Together (Marseille), Plages Electroniques (Cannes), Ultra Cape Town/Johannesburg & Origin Festival (South Africa), making him a well-known and familiar DJ throughout major electronic music countries in Europe.

Since 2010 this Madrid born is one of El Row ‘s renowned residents, the after-hours based in the ever-growing electronic hub of Barcelona that has become one of the best clubs worldwide. Since acquiring his residency at the Barcelona event, De La Swing has helped the brand expand and with it so has his reputation and the breadth and scope of his touring. Thus, it comes to no surprise that De La Swing maintained El Row residency in Ibiza for many years, with sets at Amnesia, Space and privilege.

Don’t miss his 3 hour set in a Los Angeles warehouse on March 8th.
