The organizers behind Wooded City Szczecin have recently unveiled the final lineup additions to the 2018 edition of the festival, which is set to happen on June 23.
Among those announced is the respected New York-born artist Margaret Dygas, who has built a successful career in London and Berlin and has maintained a residency at Panorama Bar for the last decade. The festival actually marks her first gig on Polish soil in over 5 years.
Also set to perform is the Danish electro trio WhoMadeWho, who incidentally are working on new remixes this year with Tale Of Us, Hot Chip and Maceo Plex, alongside a new album entitled Through the Walls.
Respected selector DJ Steaw will make his Wooded debut with a special world-first b2b alongside Jay Shepheard. A master of French groove, Steaw draws from gospel, techno and house and channels this into fantastic productions. Likewise Jay Shepheard’s knack for mixing up house, techno and disco, alongside strong releases as well. This year, a collaboration with DJ Steaw is in the works, which makes their upcoming collaboration much looked forward to.
Berlin duo Soukie & Windish will be joining as well. The pair has been known for their sound swings between rave, disco grooves and bass-infused techno. They’ll be hitting the stage with plenty of fresh party cuts.
With an emphasis on forward-focused Polish talent, the line-up is completed by An On Bast, the inspiring live artist and Red Bull Alumni, the deep disco funk of Das Komplex, Earth Trax and his shimmering brand of IDM, the deftly skilled Floating Groove, Hafendisco mainstay Manoid and rising talents Mamjazza, Droptech and Seb. Norway’s Olanskii, who is a resident at Oslo clubbing hotspot Jaeger rounds out the programming.
