Matthieu Rodrigues has come up with an interesting idea for even the most discerning of techno travelers: the techno traveler map.
The user-submitted map aims to track down all key techno venues around the world, pinning them on a map for easy finding. If you’ve ever found yourself in a foreign country with some hours to spare and unsure where to party, the Techno Traveler Map is the tool you can use to locate the nearest rave or event.
This is particularly useful in countries where events are so organized they are not even on Resident Advisor. Some examples include Phonoteque in Uraguay, Temple Nairobi in Kenya and The Observatory in Vietnam among the more popular known choices such as Output in NYC, Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin, Rex Club in Paris and DUDE Club in Milano.
