Next week, on November 22nd and 23rd 2019, Time Warp returns to the United States with the collaboration of local New York City promoters Teksupport.
The bill is signature Time Warp, featuring minimal legends Ricardo Villalobos and the pioneering Sven Väth, both of whom hardly perform on our side of the pond. They’re joined on the lineup by additional headliners in the names of Richie Hawtin, Peggy Gou, Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex, and Nina Kraviz, but that is not all, as Mind Against, Sonja Moonear, Loco Dice, Joseph Capriati, Enzo Siragusa, and more are scheduled to play
Included in the lineup is Avision, a New York City born-and-raised and currently based artist who has been making waves in the techno scene thanks to a series of productions supported by some of the world’s heavyweights. His latest release, out this week on November 15th, is his debut on the label run by Time Warp USA promoters Teksupport. Avision has been on fire with recent releases on Ben Sims’ Machine & Hardgroove labels, and on Mark Broom’s Beardman, as well as On Edge Society. With this latest EP, titled Liquid Gold, Avision continues the evolution of his signature production style of chunky, groovy & driving techno. Fachwerk label head Mike Dehnert remixes not one, but both of the tracks, and takes them down an even dirtier path with his grubby & dub-infused beats.
Needless to say, it’s an exciting month for Avision: a hard-hitting release and a Time Warp debut all wrapped up into one. For the occasion, we have teamed up with the producer/DJ for a special giveaway. The winner will receive a pair of signed Liquid Gold vinyl records, as well as a pair of Saturday Time Warp USA GA passes!
