What’s in Your Toolbox? Will Clarke’s 6 House & Techno Gems

Artists will never come unprepared to a party. They always bring a toolbox packed with tracks that are truly dance floor destroyers. What’s in Your Toolbox features artists’ secret weapons, aka, the tracks they don’t leave out of their USB. Will Clarke, an instantly recognizable DJ with his unique style and one-of-a-kind beard, shares his Top 6 house and techno cuts. Clarke has released records on esteemed labels and owns his own label, All We Have Is Now. In 2020, he launched his own podcast called The Will Clarke Podcast featuring athletes, chefs, music industry figures, and fellow artists. Will shares some of his favorite tracks, including bangers from his new EP, Rock With Me on Trick. Catch him playing at this year’s Seismic Dance Event.

Avision “Contrast”

Avision is 100% my favorite new artist on the block right now, everything he touches is amazing. This record is the first single from his album I believe and it’s just groovy and magic. For me this is proper techno, none of that formulaic garbage, straight up NYC techno.

Floorplan “Save The Children” (Detroit Mix)

Floorplan is a special duo for me not only being father and daughter but they just get how to make amazing soulful music. This specific track destroys the dance floors in ways that most tracks can’t, it speaks a powerful message and is truly a very special record.

Shelley Johannson “Likes It Rough”

Shelley is a super interesting artist with her diversity to write real melodic records alongside straight-up bangers for the dancefloor. This is one of those dance floor records, the grittiness and rawness of this record. Personally a little fast for my sets, but when I slow it down it brings another level of groove to it. Loving what Shelley is putting out and can’t wait to see what she brings out in the future.

Dubesque “Cloak & Dagger”

Dubesque is someone that has his own unique sound and has been playing his music for the last few years. This new EP has a big festival warehouse vibe, huge vocals, huge kick, big stabs… What more do we need?

Overmono “Bby”

This is something I would close my set with or if I was playing all night long this would be in there to break the night up and change the mood. Overmono are exceptional producers and I love everything they put out. The UK garage vibes, the lush chords, the classic pitched vocal. It’s a thing of beauty.

Will Clarke Rock With Me EP

Would be rude to not talk about my new EP on Trick… Rock With Me is a straight-up four-to-the-floor rave record, I pulled influence from old UK 90s rave records. On the B side is Lust feat. Vincensa, I would say this is more of a hypnotic techno record with the vocals from one of my best friends. Super happy this is out.
