What’s in Your Toolbox? Pagano’s 6 House & Techno Gems

Artists will never come unprepared to a party. They always bring a toolbox packed with tracks that are truly dance floor destroyers. What’s in Your Toolbox features artists’ secret weapons, aka, the tracks they don’t leave out of their USB. Pagano shares his Top 6 house and techno cuts. He’s a prolific contributor to the house and techno global scene. A firm favorite with labels such as Christian Smith’s Tronic and Mark Knight’s Toolroom Records. He’s shared the stage with some of dance music’s elite including Nicole Moudaber, Nina Kraviz and Boris (from Berghain). Pagano is considered one of the most respected artists playing both the underground and the LGBTQ+ circuits – bridging the gap between two seemingly divided circles. This month he’s back withEl Ritmo”, a solid groove and deep dubby bass matched with a rough and ready percussion, delivering a burning intensity from start to finish.

Pagano “Panta Rhei”

Hypnotic yet full of energy with a nod to old-school Techno.

Popof “Thought It Was All Over”

A solid groovy with a lot of 90s UK Hard House vibes. Totally my cuppa.

Der Dritte Raum – Dicke Disko

I’ve been a fan of Andreas Krüger since Hale Popp. Everything he does is incredibly creative and original.

Carlo Lio – We Bouncing

This is essentially has great groove and bass, but the flawless production and arrangements make it a dance floor bomb.

Elio Riso & Vikthor – Soul & Trip

Very clever and effective use of percussions and drum samples.

Filterheadz & Pagano – Awen

My 5th collaboration with the most talented, prolific and genuinely nice brothers from Belgium. Included in my recently released album Infinite Regress.
