Voltage Festival Announces 5th Edition Lineup with Ben Klock, Dax J, Blawan Lucy, Oscar Mulero and More

Voltage Festival celebrates its 5th birthday on Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of August. On this special occasion, the organization managed to compile a line-up that will hit hard, featuring some of the most prominent names in techno, such as Ben Klock, FJAAK, Oscar Mulero and Rebekah, amongst many others.

Ever wanted to rave at an old, abandoned, industrial power plant? Then grab your chance: Voltage Festival on the 10th and 11th of August in Zwevegem, Belgium. Voltage Festival has managed to build a solid reputation in only 4 years, becoming an indispensable part of the (inter)national electronic underground scene.

The festival broke all personal records last year, with 53 artists on the bill and 6,000 attendees. Needless to say, their plans for their wooden jubilee are even bigger. They managed to lock some of the world’s most renowned techno DJs.

At the head of the billing we find no less than Klockworks label boss and Berghain resident, Ben Klock. This techno-guru is one of the most in-demand producers of all time. His powerful techno sound will be supported by Dax J’s rough and harder style. The label owner of the renowned ‘Monnom Black’ developed a unique sound that will be appreciated by the Voltage Festival fans. More techno tunes will be provided by alias-man and ‘TERNESC’ label boss, Jamie Roberts, also known as Blawan.

Remarkable is the fact that there are no less than 8 live sets programmed. Brought by the famous Berlin duo FJAAK, one of our favorites in Rebekah, the duo Cassegrain, the Italian ambient-lover Luigi Tozzi, the mysterious Cleric, the respected duo Orphx, the Belgian label founder of ‘SIWEI Recording’, SIWEI and one of the best Belgian techno export products, Linear Straight.

Next on the list are plenty more vital figures from the techno scene, such as the Frenchman I Hate Models, the Spanish label boss of PoleGroup, Oscar Mulero, the Italian producer Lucy, the founder of Rave or Die, Umwelt, the upcoming German talent Fadi Mohem, founder of Taapion Records, Shlømo, the German producer Thomas P. Heckmann, Jasna1 resident DJ, VTSS, leading Japanese producer Wata Igarashi, the Lebanese Nur Jaber, the French emerging talent Hadone and label owner of OAKS imprint, Cadency aka Hector Oaks.

Like every year, Voltage Festival wants to support and show off our national and local talent. That’s why they booked artists such as our national techno pride Border One, Kozzmozz-residents Spacid and Kr!z, Voltage Festival founder Parallel Circuit, Rimbu founder Twan, Stygian’s River founder Takkar, Kompass founder Massimo Mephisto and many more.
