The Thrihnukagigur volcano in Iceland

Iceland’s Secret Solstice Festival is about to give you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The event is choosing a handful of attendees to experience a live performance inside the magma chamber of the Thrihnukagigur volcano, a dormant volcano near the festival grounds. This comes after the announcement of their Into the Glacier event, where 100 guests have the opportunity to party inside a glacier each night of the festival.

Though the full festival is happening in Reykjavik from June 16-19, the volcano event will happen on Saturday night for 20 ticket holders. The attendees will be flown inside the volcano mouth by a helicopter and then descend an elevator shaft to reach the final destination of the live performance.

Tickets for this volcanic event are estimated to sell for $1,920, which also includes a VIP ticket to the entire festival. Secret Solstice has an amazingly stacked lineup for 2016, including Radiohead, Jamie Jones, Action Bronson, Of Monsters and Men and many more. The event occurs during Iceland’s 24-hour summer solstice, during which it will be daytime for the entire time span. General admission tickets for the festival begin at $191. Camping, VIP, and Super-VIP tickets are also available.

If you’re uncomfortable with being so close to a major natural hazard, fear not – the volcano last erupted over 4,000 years ago.
