UK’s Premiere House and Techno Festival, Eastern Electrics Returns to Morden Park

On August 3rd and 4th, Eastern Electrics will return to Morden Park in South London featuring over 80 artists across eight stages. Founded in 2007, Eastern Electrics has become one of the UK’s fastest selling electronic music festivals having been born in a warehouse the festival has grown to larger venues, more stages, and more antics.

In 2017, Eastern Electrics moved from The Hatfield House to Morden Park in South London and featured household names like Seth Troxler, Groove Armada and may others. For 2018, the iconic festival will return to Morden Park collaborating with some of the most well-known and respected house and techno promoters in the UK and the world.

On Saturday, Jamie Jones will headline the festival on the mainstage while Skream will bring his party brand, Skreamizm to the Big Top and Eat’s Everything will take the helms of the laser-lit industrial Switchyard with the edible crew. Defected in The House will host the club tent while TDQ will host the bass stage and Ministry of Sound will play host to the VIP area.

Sunday will see the likes of RINSE FM hosting the mainstage, RAM Records hosting the Big Top, Reggae Roast at the Pub Stage, South London Soul Train taking care of your thirst for disco and retro, So Fresh So Clean bringing back the 90s in the VIP, and then Matt Jam Lamont providing a History of Garage Bass.

On Saturday, artists such as Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Claude Von Stroke, Sonny Fodera and more will take to the main stage while Eats Everything will bring along Alan Fitzpatrick, Nastia, Matador, and more to the Switchyard which will be streamed live by Be-At TV. Skream will play host to Dennis Ferrer, De La Swing and more at The Big Top and Defected In The House will see the likes of Amine Edge & Dance, Franky Rizardo, Sam Divine, Riva Starr, Josh Butler, and Simon Dunmore. The TQD Stage will see an array of bass music and in the VIP, Ministry of Sound will bring forth Nathan Barato, Mark Jenkyns, Waifs & Strays, Kate Simko, and others. Sunday will feature an array of bass music artists along with UK Garage, Reggae, Soul and Disco, 90s jams, and more!

Eastern Electrics will also see gigantic tea cups, palm trees, photo booths, and even disco limbo as well as other fun antics across the grounds. Those opting for VIP will be able to quickly jump the lines and have access to a bespoke cocktail bar, an Edible Bubble Volcano, and plenty more. There will also be a collection of fairground rides, street food, glitter girls, dress up tents, and a lot more.

The after party will take place at London’s infamous Egg Club with 3 rooms open. Artists such as Matador, Guti, Mella Dee, Spencer Parker, and more will take to the decks for the after party.
