Decibel and listed are excited to announce the debut of FAMILY FUNKTION in Los Angeles. The multi-day festival will feature 60+ elite house and techno artists, performing across four stages over 40+ hours straight. In an effort to unite the vast underground dance music community,FAMILY FUNKTION has enlisted the support of 10 hosts, each bringing with them a unique sound, vision and audience. Various hosts include labels, promoters and media outlets. Aside from listed andDecibel, the party hosts will include the following: Desert Hearts, Hallucienda, Sublevel, XLR8R, Subtract Music, SBCLTR, Stranger Than and Dig Deeper.
FAMILY FUNKTION will take place at UNION. Located in the heart of Los Angeles’ Mid City neighborhood, UNION is located between 5 and 15 minutes from downtown, Hollywood, Santa Monica and LAX. The address is 4067 W. Pico Blvd, Los Angeles.
In terms of production and venue amenities, FAMILY FUNKTION will be transforming the historict wo-story, eight room venue into a veritable playground for the senses; complete with Funktion-One Sound across all stages, visual art that includes projection mapping, audio/visual installations, lighting/lasers, decor by talented set designers/artists and a curated selection of food and merchandise vendors.

The event will start at 7PM on Friday, September 21st and continue until Sunday afternoon/earlyevening depending on attendance (minimum 40 hours straight). We will be allowing in-and-out privileges, but know that there could be long re-entry lines during peak hours (10PM to 3AM). Due to the level of amenities at the venue, we are doing everything within our power to make sure all FAMILY FUNKTION attendees are comfortable, entertained and engaged; start to finish.
