We go back to February 2010 for one of our favorite Oxia tracks. His reinterpretation of Chicago Story proves that house music is, and always will be, timeless music to satisfy the soul. Striking the perfect balance between house and techno, Chicago Story provides some serious vibes that are sure to kick the party into another gear.
With the release of his album, Tides of Mind, Oxia presented an incredibly well rounded album showcasing his range as an artist. While many tracks on this album were incredible, the one that stood out for us was Housewife with vocal treatment from Miss Kittin. An infectious groove and tantalizing vocal snippets from Miss Kittin makes Housewife a certified groover.
A more recent release fresh out of Oxia’s studio is a track from his Just As Well EP on Saved Records. I Heard You is a delightful house track that is just asking to be played to an open air dance floor. Dusty hat and shaker patterns accompanied by warm chord stabs makes us eager for another California summer. However, this one is sure to warm up dance floors wherever you may be.
