There are certain tracks that remind us why we love this music and community. I have fond memories of hearing Matthew Dear’s Fighting is Futile walking into a European club for the first time, and it sparked an uncontrollable feeling for the energy that is shared amongst the global scene. These moments are special, and for Techno Therapy this week we present Luiff Settanta by Margot released on Italian record label Hell Ya Recordings.
Within seconds of the track starting the synth lead starts to cut through the mix, and it evolves into a progressive techno monster that engulfs the listener with raw emotion. Sharp high hats sit very low in the mix giving just enough groove, but the track is propelled by various synthetic elements and leads that continually build this into a track that could be dropped at any moment…at any party.
Enjoy the track, and pick it up at Juno Download if you like it.
