A teacher from Chicago has gone viral on TikTok for playing tech-house to his students each morning.
Known to his students as Mr. P and on TikTok as The Tech House Teacher, the DJ and producer whose real name is Jake Shoredrive posted one particular video that reached almost three millions views.
To boost the kids energy each morning, Mr. P started to play tech-house each morning and sharing the video on TikTok.
One viral video starts with a handwritten letter from one of his students reading: “Mr. P, can you please keep playing house music when we come into school in the morning? It really makes me happy and ready for the day.”
The video continues with Mr. P showing that he has transformed the schools gymnasium into a make-shift nightclub with with lasers and music.
When he’s not teaching, Shoredrive’s making music and has worked with record labels including Hood Politics.
