Surgeon is somewhat of a techno veteran; with releases on revered labels such as Downwards, Tresor, Blueprint, and Token, he has been a staple of the culture for over 25 years, never ceasing to evolve and improve as an artist. The UK native has always had a soft spot for analog gear, which he has been filling his studio with for a number of years. Needless to say, he has quite the impressive setup. From synthesizers to drum machines and everything in between, this guy has it all. Luckily, Surgeon has decided to discuss his gear and his workflow in an in-depth interview, courtesy of XLR8R. Whether you’re into analog or digital (both are very great in their own ways), you’ll surely get a kick out of this. In addition to discussing his hardware, he talks about how he incorporates software into his workflow; however, he makes it very clear that he is a hardware connoisseur.
