Stanislav Tolkachev Gives Acid Rework to “Strobos”

Giselh is back on Skryptöm with Under The Skin EP that announces his debut album for February 2022. The French-born, Swiss-based producer delivers a diverse and eclectic EP that ranges from ambient, breakbeat to techno.

Opening the EP is premiere track “Strobos”. The song is a collaboration with the sound designer behind the Cocon project: Ôtanô. The project is a visual and olfactory sound installation intended for live performance and composed of a vibrating sound floor encircled by a system of multi-diffusion speakers and a panoramic screen. Ambient and cinematic, the track “Strobos” receives a deep acid rework by the one and only Stanislav Tolkchev.

Leaning towards one of Giselh’s main influence, Detroit, “Under The Skin” and “So” speed up the tempo. Things get deeper on the hypnotic grooves of ‘Tellurium”, while French newcomer BXTR (Raw / Primus) delivers an unexpected breakbeat version of the track.

Keep your ears peeled for more tracks in February 2022. In case you’re curious, here’s the track list for Giselh’s forthcoming EP, Under The Skin:
