The Rio Music Conference announces its dates to take place January 27th through February 9th to start 2016 off right with impressive new venues to set the vibe for the array of key figure hosts and guests. Like previous years since its inception in 2009, the festival will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, home to many iconic artists, museums and clubs.

The RMC is a collective event sponsored by the city of Rio de Janeiro’s mayor where the biggest names in electronic music including artists, managers, label owners, festival organizers, club owners and attendees can come together to discuss today’s trends and draw inspiration to collaborate on new projects. Founders sought out Rio de Janeiro to host RMC as the city is an epicenter of partying, drawing international visitors who seek out the hottest parties in the world.

Two of the new venues include the Museum of Art in Porto Maravilha, a new cultural center, and the Planetarium, which will set a unique backdrop for the conference’s events. Both of these venues will host an array of panels, debates, workshops and showcases to provide influential networking opportunities.

The Rio Music Conference coincides with Rio Music Carnival to take place February 5th through February 9th. The Carnival event draws visitors from around the world to experience the impressive array of eclectic culture and vibrant music alongside Brazil’s hospitable residents. For people seeking fun and excitement, RMC and Carnival’s lineup will be nothing short of spectacular with a variety of music and art events to ensure attendees will have no moments of lag.

Headliners for the 2016 festival will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
