Premiere: Raul Facio Lands on Jannowitz Records With Remixes by Mr. Bizz and George Adi

It’s unusual for Jannowitz Records to release an EP with only one original mix, but when it happens, of course, it means that there’s one hell of a track that can stand by itself.

This is exactly what happened when Raul Facio sent “Cid Cid” to the label. At only 19 years he has already released on Dubfire’s Sci-Tec, Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect and Sian’s Octopus Records. All quite impressive, considering that he’s also touring regularly and playing the clubs in his home state Texas as well as some of the most renowned clubs in the U.S. such as Output in Brooklyn.

Mr. Bizz‘s remix is an ode to “Cid Cid”, but even darker and in pure Jannowitz style. They’re one of Raul’s fellow Sci-Tec label-mates but have also released EPs on Octopus, Terminal M, Suara, Sleaze and Sven Väth’s mighty Cocoon label.

On top of Mr. Bizz’s remix, Jannowitz favorite George Adi stepped up to the plate for a rendition of his own. His version of “Cid Cid” includes a whole new bassline, keeping Raul’s main idea but adding this new layer and opening it up to a completely different interpretation.

Track List:

Raul Facio – “Cid Cid”
Raul Facio – “Cid Cid” (Mr. Bizz Remix)
Raul Facio – “Cid Cid” (George Adi Remix)
