Premiere: Norman Weber Explores Far-Away Soundscape in his Deep Vision EP

Norman Weber, half of Luna City Express explores an exotic and upbeat soundscape in his Deep Vision EP, with fellow German talent Mathias Kaden and newcomer Aaaron on remix duties.

A collaboration with vocalist Ken, “Deep Vision” brings together melodic fragments and lush vocals spiraling through ricocheting drums and dreamy synth echoes. Powerful, yet deeply harmonious, it creates an environment in which the groove moves fluidly, making it a perfect dance floor weapon.

“U.F.O.” is a track that stays true to its name, with hypnotizing whirlwind synths building up an alien-like groove. Backed by trippy, distorted vocals and gyrating loops, it showcases a quirkier side of the producer.

Aaron’s rework of Deep Vision is a deep, minimal slice, loaded with gradually escalating pads and traces of clangorous energy atop Ken’s initial vocal loops. Veteran Mathias Kaden reimagines Deep Vision into a moody, mesmeric version for dark spaces. Equally compelling, it offers up a whole new world of textures and loose rhythms that aptly complement the
original.
