Premiere: Kaiser Souzai Debuts on Transmit Recordings with “Lost In Translation” EP

Anyone who’s encountered Ballroom Records’ output from the past while will know all too well that this is a label that doesn’t take half measures when it comes to churning out uncompromising techno. Indeed, this is particularly apparent in the output of the label owner and key protagonist, Kaiser Souzai, who marks his debut here for DJ Boris’ Transmit label courtesy of an EP that speaks volumes of his ability to consistently come up with innovative and fresh-sounding techno jams.

Opening the Lost In Translation EP is the sounds of ‘Crash Course’.  A thundering track featuring a wide range of different sound varieties that will have your body shaking nonstop, this one has been designed to shake dancefloors to their very core. Listeners note: you have been warned!

Andrins Quest’ is a bass heavy track notable for its drama, suspense and build up, and is the kind of carefully construed cut that will go down a treat when the ‘floor is at its most fervent and demanding. Closing the release is ‘Lost in Wanaka’, a track that’s more subtle than its predecessors and is more focused toward the early morning, after-hours scene. Another record that emphasises Kaiser Souzai’s dexterous and diverse production abilities, this is a truly killer release that is sure to appease discerning techno heads especially.
