Originally inspired by Marco Carola’s 2006 Fabric 31 Mix, Tap Newo’s most recent style and sound draws from the varied work of acts such as DVS1, Octopus Recordings’ Sian, Julia Govor and r²π, as well as the current LA techno warehouse scene. Tap Newo is also the host of the Into the Warehouse with Tap Newo mix series for Data Transmission Radio.
Beginning his rise in the Toronto scene, Footwork Fuel has been constructing his sound from a diverse resource pool and tying it into his love of techno. His tracks are seeing release on outlets such as Minimal Sessions, Gain Recordings, Bubblejam Recordings and Marika Rossa’s acclaimed Fresh Cut.
