Flexing the muscles of his production prowess, Carl Bee has delivered his pounding new release, “Pacer”, a twisted club track that has already received a wealth of support from some of the industry’s biggest names, including Solomun, and Joris Voorn.
Dropping on Voorn’s iconic Green label, Carl’s after-hours thumper relies on a sumptuous breakdown, and strong tribal elements; showcasing the Maltese producer’s gruff, and minimalistic beats.
Amassing a wealth of releases on esteemed labels such as Saved, Intec, Lapsus, and CR2, Carl has garnered support from the biggest names in techno; including the likes of Solomun, Carl Cox, Dubfire and Marco Carola. He’s one of the only DJs responsible for putting Malta on the map as a celebrated spot for underground music. He hosts a summer residency at UNO Village (same venue as Lost and Found festival) called GRINGOS, which has seen huge talent including Green Velvet and Richy Ahmed perform each year. Last summer, he played b2b with the likes of Joris Voorn, Nic Fanciulli, and James Zabiela at Gringos, and is also a regular at Lost and Found. He is the most successful artist from Malta in the electronic genres and has undoubtedly helped shape the music scene there over his two-decade career.
