The massive explosion shook Lebanon’s capital earlier this month and left hundreds of thousands without shelter. The explosion killed about 200 people and injured more than 5,000. Officials estimate about $15 billion in damage. The port’s explosion could not come at a worse time as the country already struggles to cope with the pandemic. Lebanon has also been facing a multitude of crises including political, social, health, and economic prior to the coronavirus.
We must support in any way we can to help, and in addition, our efforts will also be helping the music and arts industry of Lebanon which has been wiped out.
