Kappa FuturFestival 2018 Announces First Wave of Acts

Kappa FuturFestival, one of Europe’s premier electronic music festival, returns in 2018 bigger and better than ever before.

The 2018 edition takes place across two days, from July 7-8 at the famous Parco Dora in Torino, Italy. True techno and house lovers can expect performances from some of the best DJs and live acts in the world, including Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Solomun, Derrick May, Ilario Alicante, Luciano and Marco Carola.

The inner city and suitably industrial festival site of Parco Dora offers varied hangouts and lashings of Italian food and drink throughout its 65k sqm area, a big enough venue to fit in around 50,000 techno lovers all united in music.

The festival kicks off with performances of techno mainstay Adam Beyer, fellow heavyweight Joseph Capriati and global house figure Solomun. Sunday, meanwhile, finds Detroit pioneer Derrick May, techno star Ilario Alicante, Swiss-Chilean minimal and Latin-inspired tech house master Luciano as well as renowned Ibiza figure Marco Carola all performing for the crowds.

As it was last year, the cashless system will be available in the event once again. Making a distinction from the many music festivals and events, Kappa FuturFestival provides a unique payment method that will be used across the site. It also let attendees use a loyalty card that can be topped up by cash or credit card and pay for all consumables at the festival. For the first time it will now be possible to use the cards distributed over the last two years and for registered users many prizes and free credit are also up for grabs.

Another milestone for this year’s event, Kappa FuturFestival has partnered with Platinium Group, Formula1 and MotoGP official ticketing platform that will ensure a quicker and easier purchase process, which will ultimately lead to a better customer experience.
