John Digweed is moving forward from Structures One and Two, released in 2010 and 2011 respectively, and is encapsulating the essence of Bedrock Records and its influence on the musical fabric with the eagerly awaited release of Re:Structured. Bedrock Music has been at the forefront of electronic music since its inception in 1991, with John Digweed and Nick Muir manning the imprint. Re:Structured is a celebratory compilation spanning thirty-five tracks, of which twenty-one are exclusive. The package includes three CDs and an exclusive DVD.
CD one includes previously unreleased tracks from Bedrock artists new and old, providing a listening experience that manifests the label’s iconic production style. CD two is a dazzling collection of reworks and remixes of classic tracks taken straight from the label’s catalogue, taking production further through the limitless possibilities of interpretation and reconfiguration. CD three is a momentous live recording of Digweed’s set on October 1, 2015 at the Bedrock seventeen-year anniversary event at London’s distinguished XOYO. The DVD holds an intimate interview of the founders and a journey through the rich history and scenes of Bedrock.
Re:Structured is set for release on December 4. The compilation is available in two formats, the three CD/one DVD package or a vinyl trio. Both options can be pre-ordered on Bedrock Music.
