Jansons returns to Circus Recordings with the infectious house anthem ‘Medicine’ feat. Dope Earth Alien. Following his 2019 debut on Circus Recordings with the massive ‘Switch’, Jansons quickly established himself as one of the most exciting UK producers on the scene and continues to demonstrate his ability to deliver dancefloor-focused house music. His latest track ‘Medicine’ is no different.
Accompanying Jansons on ‘Medicine’ are the vocals of familiar collaborator and Toronto-based singer-songwriter, Dope Earth Alien. With her signature sound echoing over the track, she layers fun vocal lines over Jansons bass and percussion-laden production.
Following up one of the standout tracks of 2019, ‘Switch’ dominated the dancefloors of clubs and was a regular feature in the record bags of artists such as Marco Carola and Honey Dijon, as well as receiving a number of spins from Annie Mac and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Music shows.

On top of giving us the honor of premiering “Medicine,” Jansons also shared his current top ten tracks:
I used to play this record on repeat! The stripped-back moody vibe and the chuggy feel of the drums are wicked. Peace Division’s style has had a big influence on me and my productions.
I’ve listened to Jurassic 5 so many times! ‘Quality Control’ is a wicked album. Love the sampling, the MCs and the rhythms – it’s my favourite type of Hip hop and has a big influence on my Hip house stuff.
Love a bit of Filter house and the filter doesn’t get juicier than this. A classic and always smashes the dance floor!
This is one of my all-time favourite records. The synths on this track are awesome. I had to get the OB-6 after hearing Sasha had used the Oberhiem Xpander synth on the record.
Proper House music. All Kerri’s records are top draw and his drums have set a benchmark for my own, especially the 909s.
Embedding himself amongst a new wave of underground house artists, Jansons has regularly appeared on Radio 1’s Dance Music shows alongside a number of notable releases on labels such as Knee Deep In Sound, FourThirtyTwo and Hot Creations. He’s also performed at venues and festivals such as Fabric, Hideout, BPM and Warehouse Project. With career-defining releases such as ‘Medicine’ on the horizon, 2021 promises to propel Jansons further into the spotlight.
