Founded and curated by Nihil Young aka Less Hate, Frequenza is an independent Italian techno, tech house, house and electronic record label that has been operating since 2009. With releasing artists from all over the world, and a sold out showcase during Amsterdam Dance Event 2017, the label will be hosting its first showcase in Detroit during Movement weekend.
The event, presented by Frequenza in collaboration with M5 Records and Charivari Detroit, will take place May 25th at The Whiskey Disco.
The lineup features a selection of International and U.S. artists alike, including Paris-meet-Lima duo Wolf Story, Detroit’s very own Soul Goodman, Chicago-based Jason Patrick, M5 Records’ founder Chris Hughes, Toronto’s Classic Roots, and local favorites Francesco e Marcello.
The concept of the label is based on open-mindedness, and a 360° love for electronic music, boasting releases and remixes from the likes of Maetrik, Gary Beck, Lutzenkirchen, John Lagora, Broombeck, Brian Sanhaji, Dustin Zahn, Pig & Dan, Simina Grigoriu and Dantiez Saunderson.
