New footage posted on social media has indicated Thomas Bangalter and Lil Nas X may be working on music together.
In an Instagram story posted on Lil Nas X’s account, the rapper is seen moving to music surrounded by instruments and recording equipment, and a man who looks very much like the former Daft Punk member walks past in the background holding a guitar.

It’s the first sighting of Bangalter in the studio since Daft Punk split up in February last year.
News of upcoming projects from Bangalter has followed since. In August 2021, he was confirmed to be scoring a new ballet titled Mythologies that will debut in 2022.
Let’s hope a Bangalter-produced banger from Lil Nas X is also on the way.
