So, without further ado, we present to you our exclusive Q&A with several of the acts playing this fantastic label showcase, including DJ W!LD himself:
ADE is just around the corner. What is it about Amsterdam you love the most?
I love the city, the vibe coming out of it. The architecture, the shops & museums and the restaurants. During ADE it’s even better with all your friends coming from all around and a bunch of quality parties …
Where would be your top recommendation for us, maybe somewhere a bit off the beaten track?
Corner Bakery for brunch is really amazing, difficult to choose something specific from there as everything is bomb. Stedelijk Museum has a great selection of contemporary art. Then as a big cheese lover I love to go to Kaashui’s tromp cheese shop who have an amazing selection of cheeses from all over the world. Then my favorite juices and shots you can find at Jay’s Juice.
It’s your DAILYCID’s label showcase on Wednesday 17th October. You have a great line up joining you at Het Sieraad. What is it about Amsterdam that makes it such a great location for a DAILYCID party?
Amsterdam during ADE is the best convention for music I think. It’s also the best location to do my party and diffuse the sound of my label. The people are coming from all around the world to ADE so it’s really good place to promote your brand.
Finally, can you give us a track that you are loving at the moment – and that you might give a spin at the DAILYCID event?
My favorite track at the moment is DATA 17 – KLEPTOMANIAC (data17 /002 )
ADE is just around the corner. What is it about Amsterdam you love the most?
Amsterdam is my birth and home city, and the only place where I’ve ever wanted to live. It’s a cozy city, not too big, and yet big enough to get lost among all the possibilities it has to offer food and culture-wise. It’s a multi-cultural pot, with hidden corners full of charm. It’s the feeling of living in a universal city while being able to enjoy the coziness of a small town, that has stolen my heart.
Where would be your top recommendation for us, maybe somewhere a bit off the beaten track?
Get lost in the authentic parts of the city like Jordaan, Oud West, Oud Zuid. The center of the city is always busy, and during ADE even busier. Go for ramen at Sora in De Pijp, or a Michelin-starred Yamazato in hotel Okura. Take a free pond to the North part of the city and enjoy the beautiful vistas of the city center across the water. If you have a bit of extra time, take a bike ride along the Amstel river and end up in Amsterdam’s Bos – it’s a beautiful forest oasis at the outskirts of the city.
You’re playing at DAILYCID’s label showcase on Wednesday 17th October. What is your relationship like with the label, tell us how you met DJ W!LD? If it’s safe to tell in public…
I met DJ W!LD a few years ago at DC10 in Ibiza through a friend. She introduced us after his set when I took over. I remember clearly it was 1st of January Circoloco NYD edition. The day after we got together with a few people for a great Italian dinner. After we met a few times at Circoloco, he asked to provide a remix on one of his EPs.

Hmm, most of the time it’s an IN/OUT journey so I don’t have so many plans, but as a foodie I would suggest to try Bord’eau – for an incredible global food experience. High-end stuff.

Ahah our very first proper experience together isn’t safe to tell in public, so I won’t tell all the details.. We really met for the first time in NYC, we had a great time together from dinner to after hours. Obviously, with our tight calendars, it’s not so easy to catch up every day, but I believe this does not change the connection you have with someone.
Finally, can you give us a track that you are loving at the moment – and that you might give a spin at the DAILYCID event?
Hmm it’s not easy to pick just one track, but this one just popped up – I am playing this old Rhadoo track a lot again, released on Cadenza, and called “Bau”.
ADE is just around the corner. What is it about Amsterdam you love the most?
Amsterdam has always been one of my favorite cities. I love its architecture, history, culture and of course the nightlife and music scene in Amsterdam is very special.
Where would be your top recommendation for us, maybe somewhere a bit off the beaten track?
Tomo Susihi is always a go-to place for me to get some quality sushi which is located near the center of the city. Some of my favorite clubs in the city would have to be “The Shelter” as well as “Brett” they are highly recommended for anyone visiting during ADE.

ADE is just around the corner. What is it about Amsterdam you love the most?
– For me, Amsterdam is one of my favorite places on earth. Endless little streets and canals. Stunning architecture. Every time you get here you feel like a character from a fairy tale.
Where would be your top recommendation for us, maybe somewhere a bit off the beaten track? (bar/restaurant/café/cultural location)
– One of my favorite places is The Happy Pig Pancake Shop for a quick coffee and tasty breakfast, and of course visit the Rush Hour Vinyl Store for some goodies.

Yes I met DJ W!LD a year ago in Ibiza and later we played the Dailycid label showcase in Moscow. Since then, we’ve had a great relationship and I’ve done a few tracks for the label. I already have a release on one of his VAs on the label alongside great artists like Chris Carrier aka Monsieur Georget, Funk E aka Marvin Gain and DATA17, and another one coming soon.
Finally, can you give us a track that you are loving at the moment – and that you might give a spin at the DAILYCID event?
I have a new track coming under my new moniker ‘Monteki’ with artist Raha Medzhidov, so that’s getting a lot of plays at the moment!
