Innervisions, the label founded by Dixon and Âme, is heading West. The storied Berlin label, famed for their distinctly emotive and psychedelic take on house and techno, will bring to life a former grand dame city park in Downtown Los Angeles this May.
Innervisions Los Angeles, produced in partnership with Future Primitive, is the label’s first official showcase in the city, and will feature Dixon, a DJ set from Âme’s Kristian Beyer, Trikk, and Eagles & Butterflies for extended open-air performances set against the skyline of Los Angeles.
Innervisions events are famed for a sense of time and place, they most recently took over London’s Royal Albert Hall, their collaborative party with Life and Death, Rakastella, popped up on a secluded Florida key during Art Basel, and their roving Lost In A Moment series has touched down on remote islands, mountain sides, ancient castles and nature reserves.
Innervisions events, though distinct, are always driven by a sense of occasion, and a burning desire to produce something unique, that captures and observes some essence of the locality. The LA event pairs the joy of dancing under a Southern California midsummer sunset, the drama of LA’s cinematic skyline and the history and discovery of seeing an iconic LA urban park reimagined for one night only.
