EDC LAs Vegas 2022 is just around the corner with a huge lineup of all genres that all ravers can expect. Unfortunately, it looks like techno legend Richie Hawtin will not be gracing the ravers with his presence.
Just earlier today Hawtin took to twitter to give the sad announcement below:
I have unfortunately had to make the decision to not attend @EDC_LasVegas 2022. The date now clashes with an important family appointment related that I must attend. I’ve had many special moments at the festival and aim to be back in 2023.@TheFactory93

Hawtin is considered to be one of the major pioneers of techno under his current name and his Plastikman alias. Of course this is a blow to techno fans who travel far and wide for the massive event. No word yet if there will be another replacement for Hawtin‘s performance. More updates will be announced as news comes in.
