DJ Tennis & Acid Pauli Take Over LA’s Chinatown for Open-To-Close Showing on June 22nd

Figureheads of left field house and electronica, DJ Tennis and Acid Pauli, will return to Los Angeles on June 22 for a day into night sermon at Chinatown’s historic Gin Ling Way. The block party will be hosted by one of the leaders of the LA techno and house scene Future Primitive, who also celebrate their first birthday in June.

DJ Tennis is a name as ingrained into the modern foundation of house and techno as it is its future. Known as the head of the renowned Life and Death imprint and co-founder of Art Basel Miami’s iconic Rakastella event, Tennis has spent years refining both the musical direction and industry backbone of contemporary electronic music, emerging from Italy’s punk and rock scene with a singular spin on dance music. His performances offer a showcase of his diverse musical background, pushing the musical envelope in a seamless blending of avant-garde electro, soulful house grooves, and driving tech.

Acid Pauli sits firmly on the outer limits of the dancefloor, unafraid to push far beyond traditional club rhythms. The Berlinite is known for taking revelers on psychedelic journeys, carefully molded to their respective time and place. It’s this idiosyncratic musical vision, backed by years of synth mastery and film scoring, that have kept Acid Pauli in high demand at the world’s most forward-thinking gatherings like Day Zero, Mutek, and many more.

Getting its start in June 2018, Future Primitive has risen as a new LA institution for dance music’s cutting edge. This season alone, the brand is hosting the likes of Guy Gerber’s Rumors, Jamie Jones Paradise in the Park, and Innervisions’ first-ever LA showcase. They remain committed to providing unique experiences to guests, soundtracked by the world’s top underground electronic talents.
