Selected from Underworld’s upcoming album Barbara Barbara, we face a shining future, DJ Koze’s remix of “I Exhale” is nothing short of weird and funky in signature thumping DJ Koze style. The track is the first single taken from the new album, which will be released on March 18 amidst Underworld’s international tour across Europe, the US, and Japan this year.
The German DJ gives a refreshing and totally danceable tech house facelift to the trippy rocking original by the smashing duo Karl Hyde and Rick Smith. The remix throws in some modish elements, taking it back with groovy keyboard notes and retro vocal play-throughs reminiscent of sounds from the 60s. Listen to the remix below.
