Los Angeles’s premier techno collective Black Lodge celebrates its one year anniversary on March 5 with special guest Claude Young, a name plucked straight from the roots of Detroit’s pioneering techno scene. Claude will play an extended set at Hyperion Tavern alongside Nomadico, and Black Lodge residents Force Placement and Kosmik.
Claude Young is the co-founder of two of Detroit’s most respected imprints, Frictional Records with Anthony “Shake” Shakir and 7th City Records with Dan “DBX” Bell. Self-made in the art of the DJ, Claude has remixed the likes of Musto & Bones, Technasia, Gary Numan, Carl Craig, Joey Beltram, and Inner City to name a few. In addition to playing an extended set, Claude will head a 4-hour audio master class to a select few at Yaxteq Lab 001, taking place from 5 to 9PM before the Black Lodge one year event.
Check out the Black Lodge one year anniversary event page and reserve a spot for Yaxteq Lab 001 taking place at a downtown location TBA.
