Abstract Division Sets Bar High With Their Contemporary Spaces EP

Abstract_Division_GigatoolsThe nascent collaboration between two of Netherlands’ finest names in techno, Abstract Division has set the bar high by actively putting out quality releases in the past number of years. Paul Boex is a respected name in electronic music and head of Dutch label Dynamic Reflection. Dave Miller is a seasoned DJ that throws down vinyl-only sets and is part of the Audiosculpture collective. Together, the two continue to bring a fresh and innovative perspective to techno.

The appropriately titled Contemporary Spaces EP is a ten-track listening experience from beginning to end, each track inhabiting its own environment whilst contributing to a larger cohesive and subliminal idea. From atmospheric ambient transitions to driving drone warehouse vibes, Contemporary Spaces is a highly engaging conception of the limitless capacities of techno. The EP is Dynamic Reflection’s first release of the year, giving a major step forward for the imprint.

The Contemporary Spaces EP will be released on January 19 on Bandcamp. The 2×12″ format will be available starting January 15 on Triple Vision.
