Joining 6AM’s weekly Guest Mix is Fers, a certified master creator of underground techno. The mix explores depth and obscurity—two ways Brazilian artist, Eduardo Ferrari exceptionally creates the conveyed feeling of reflection with his FERS project. Created by Eduardo himself, the intent behind the project is to awaken a feeling within his listeners, as though they are on a journey; coursing them through the various tales and stories within the parallel world that FERS has created.
With the FERS project, Eduardo expresses a somber yet fresh vibe, with contrasts of elegance and raw sonic power; and with these elements, Eduardo is making his way in the world through Techno music. Mesmerizing melodies, strange ambiances, complexity in the smallest details, this is the kind of idea that comes to my mind.
Born in Porto Alegre, State of Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo has three years of experience as a DJ and producer. His underground style is guided mainly by dark, progressive styles of techno. His songs carry a futuristic and spatial aesthetic, working very well with the dualities found in life, such as light and dark, companionship and solitude, analog and digital–which is exactly the musical experience that Fers wants to create for his listeners.
