Dance and music are the centerpieces for every hot summer party, and nothing could be truer than in our home city of Los Angeles.
For its seventh summer, Grand Park’s Sunday Sessions hosts L.A.’s finest House music curators on select Sundays from June through September. Featuring many DJs at each event, this popular series of free outdoor dance parties will celebrate the contribution of Los Angeles artists to the American-originated, globally embraced art form of House music. Guests can picnic or purchase food from food trucks and cocktails from the bar (21+ only) and enjoy the sounds of summer in a beautiful setting right in the heart of Downtown L.A.
Sunday Sessions will take place on the park’s Performance Lawn, just north of Hill Street, on the following Sundays between 2pm and 8pm: June 23, July 21, August 18, September 22.
We are honored and thrilled to announce that 6AM Group will be hosting the August 18th edition of Sunday Sessions, with a lineup that brings together some of Los Angeles’ deepest history and biggest contributors from the worlds of House and Techno. The aim for our curated lineup is to truly pay homage to the city’s underground electronic music roots by bringing together artists that represent key collectives and movements that have kept the city’s vibrant music scene alive over the years.
